Plugs don't produce power changes unless compared to plugs that were in use that were not correct or were fouled or worn out. Once combustion gets underway, that all there is.
As for the Saab turbos, many alternate choices exist, but almost always they don't work correctly, and is they do, the foul up.
The spark plugs in the direct ignition Saabs are also monitored by the ignition system to detect knock. There is no knock sensor on these vehicles.
This issue comes up on this BB very often. Stick to NGK plugs. Nothing has been shown to be better, and many engine problems have been recitified by finding off spec off brand plugs and replacing them.
If you had referred to a specific year and model you might have gotten a specific recommendation.
Most SplitFire plugs that I have seen are cheap cheap cheap plugs with a cut electrode. Big deal. Now you can get an overheated electrode and get preignition while underboost.
