I know.... I have always stated the NG900/9-3 is a horrible chassis & needs a TON of braces to make it better. Being tall, narrow & flexy FWD car is horrible. Thus there are TONS of much better track cars out there, I was just wondering if any of the cars you passed had track tires or street tires. Been on the track with mine numerous times & I am fully aware how crappy it is. But it's still a TON of fun to beat cars that I shouldn't. I have always used street tires on the viggen & I hope to make it back next year to see if I can improve my times at all, been 2-3 years since I have been on a track....

One of my old instructors told me "technically this is the worst handling car out on the track ..tall, narrow, FWD..." which he stated as we were passing a 911turbo.... he then stated "I would hate to be that driver". I could only laugh..... In the instructor group like Gary is in usually everyone has a similar level of drivers ability but there is still variety in how much people will push their car. It's in the student run groups that there is such a wide variety especially the more beginner/novice the group is.

At my local track Putnam park I could do 1.23's in my SPG (RA-1's) & 1.25's in my Viggen (street tires) & the 911 GT3 race cars were in the 1.15 area. I never wanted to push my SPG to the limit & on the viggen I would be at the limit in just about every turn.
