Some engine builders say forged pistons can mill out the cylinders in a way that stock pistons do not. Sure they are strong, and a necessary upgrade on a high hp b235, but some might say they are an unnecessary compromise on a stage 1 motor. I don't know if the milling is just internet chatter or a real thing, but I would check with an expert to see what kind of longevity you can expect out of a b235 with forged pistons.
Knock on wood, my stage 3 Vig has 150K miles and runs like a top. Burns no oil, nothing. Just change the oil, replace the maf every 60K and keep on top of maintenance, and these motors are plenty strong for your goals.
