I saw in one of my internet search sessions that someone had taken a nissan 240sx turbo header and removed the main flange with a saab flange. The main reason this has interest for me is I plan to go to Holset hx35 and we all know this wont fit on the stock manifold if you want to keep AC.
I know there is a manifold out there for $950 that is made for a saab but that is like 2-3x price of a holset turbo. I would rather just weld on the saab flange to the 240sx manifold here is one that seems like the turbo mount point is off center enough to work. The cooling fan shroud may have to be cut down a little to get clearance but I plan to go with a high performance radiator I dont think the stock one can handle 90mph on a 90F day at high altitude as last summer I would see temp of 235F+ going up mt passes around lake tahoe. I dont like that kind of heat in the motor. I plan to find a racing style aluminum radiator and low profile fan.
