part of my post. I had a Forge 006 recirc valve and never felt that it was holding high boost, even with the stiffest spring in it. It was hard to pin down, not being as loud as a BOV, but there was flutter at high boost. That's why I tried different things, including a rigid line. Switched to a Forge Splitter, and a stiff little helper spring on the WG, and everything was fixed. But I violated one of the the basic rules of modification, I did two changes at once, so I couldn't swear which one fixed it. I should get an aftermarket WG, though, the heat degrades the helper spring over time, but it is cheap to replace.
