I converted an NA to LPT on a 92 900 vert. The turbo wheel I picked was a 14G, so it's a TE05-12B, a normal 1991-1994 turbo, with a different wheel. Then, a turbo kraft boost regulator was put on to limit boost.
I used a 900 turbo intercooler, and all the plumbing, injectors from a 1988 turbo. The wastegate set a about 6 psi for base boost, I don't know what the final pressure is until I test drive it, hopefully tomorrow.
Water injection would be advisable at this point, I've got the equipment, just not enough time to get it installed, now it's winter, and we have cold temps, so not concerned yet.
Use colder plugs for sure.
