After reading all the threads on this forum and over at Audiworld on this by pass/ DV valve saga ,I investigated the 3 most talked about valves the Forge ,Bailey, and Turbo XS. My findings are The bailey is a good valve but is a sealed piece and cannot be maintained. Also no stock at distributors.
The Turbo XS strange looking valve but seemed well made ,My Concerns over the heavy brass piston which seems very slow to respond due to brass density.Proved correct.
Forge valve dealer states valve spring is the same as the OEM Bosch valve ,Two sizes of valve 006 and 007P.
Servicable unit and they said it was guaranteed for life!!!!!.and they had stock.
Also an interesting point, whilst looking at all these valves The Forge valve appears to be the same valve being Supplied by Abbot racing, and TSL in the UK.
My final verdict the Forge gets it, so I got it and fitted it.
Car drives great.
