Unless you like being disapointed, don't even try to do business with Evergreen Engineering of Missoula Montana posted on this site under the title "New Old Stock SAAB Parts". Matthew, who runs the website will not honor any agreements made concerning purchases.

If you think that you have an ironclad agreement from him and send the money, he will sell any part right out from under you if someone makes a better offer. I had just such an ironclad agreement to purchase a rare part at an agreed price and had arranged delivery and even sent the money order which he received before telling me that he had sold the part to another individual. My lawyer talked to him on the phone, and despite the fact that no warning at all was given, he said he felt free to accept and reject a sale right up until the point where he receives the money, regardless of promises made.

This reprehensible and arrogant behavior may be based on the "time honored" principle of greed, but there is no honor, no fairness, and no legality to this conduct. I verified this sale through two e-Mails received from these people and did not get so much as an apology. I discharged my responsibility to warn fellow SAAB enthusiasts. What you do with this warning is your business. If you are a Masochist? Go Ahead.
