JK, I once "t-boned" (totaled) a Volkswagen at a blind intersection with my prized muscle car. A midget of a German lady got out of her crushed car ranting and screaming for a telephone! She had a heavy german accent and reminded me of Dr. Ruth. After asking her if she was OK, I had to ask why she could only think of finding a telephone at a time like that. When she said that she had to call her German mechanic because she was never late for an appointment & he would be upset, I burst into laughter & couldn't stop. It wasn't only the aggitated state of the woman, her accent, or the German (Teutonic) penchant for precision and being on time that was funny!--the point is--it is strange what we think of during and immediately following an accident. Your Viggen was of little importance compared to your life & that could have been on the line that day. When you think bitterly about your poor Viggen think about that crazy German lady jumping up and down & trying not to disappoint her mechanic! (it must be hard to find a good one) It just isn't worth it. Maintain a sense of humor. You can always get another car.
