Hello Karl. Thanks for your suggestions.
Actually, the criteria for which turbo to get has been the software, and I am hoping for a nice discount from Speedparts if I get the whole set from there. I already have the larger intercooler.. (don't worry!).
I was under the impression that the Mitsubishi was a better quality turbo than the Garrett ones. Spoolup is close to T-25.. or isn't it? I want to be able to drive the car quickly during normal driving also -not just racing!
BTW I just want to point out that you can't pay the cops off -maybe that's the impression I gave you in another post- you can pay of the employees doing the emissions test. I wouldn't mind getting a job there myself -these guys make serious money!!
Anyway, I have some time to think about it since I am now in the process of upgrading the suspension. I already have an Abbott ECU on the car (I'm still kicking myself for that) and the handling can get quite embarassing with those 15" rims. I have Konis & Eibachs on order, I'm looking for 17" rims, and will probably get the Abbott anti-roll bar and steering clamp to reduce the torque steer.
And another thing, I talked to the guy at Maptun -there only seems to be one guy anyway(!) don't know what to make of that- and he said that the fuel pump is good up to 260hp and that he recommends changing the camshaft. As I said I don't know what to make of this company; possibly they could be very good, but things like changing the camshaft are not what I want to do. It gets hot here.. I need to be able to turn on the A/C.
Have a nice weekend
