Sounds like very good engine prep. Any base line improvement to the NA set-up is carried over in terms of high VE to the turbo mode.
I'd stay with the stock turbo for a while. It works very well up to ~200 hp level, with very fat bottom end. You just can't crank low end boost with the T4 cold wheel, before hitting surge. I think the T4 is best for small disp and very high rpms (drag hondas) or larger (than 2L) displacements where you quickly move right with boost and rpm on the compressor map, before hitting surge.
After some more study, and discussions with the RIGHT guys (not Brian) at turbonetics, they could rework the T3/T4 with used housings, etc, for a reasonable price. Use their site charts and maps (get the rpm contour key from them, it's missing). For fat bottom end, a trick T3 may be a better path.
Chassis dynos are reasonable $$$ these days, so make sure your dp has a plug for an extra O2 sensor. A wide band sensor(provided by dyno guys) at a dyno is a great way to check fuel.
Drop some update posts, many would be interested here.
Also, consider the apc system. It is a very nice way to get knock protection.
Have fun!
