Thanks, I tried this but still no brake lights - My next debugging step (in the morning) is to short the two connectors and check out as much as I can between the switch and lights. I didn't hear a relay click when I shorted the lines this evening, so perhaps the first thing would be to figure out where the brake relay is located.
