Hey thanks for the replies guys. I'll look into ashcrafts springs. I'm not really concerned bout drivability the car is already loud as sh*+ so why not add stiffness. The only trip that is longer than an hr opin the car is to Carlisle Import yearly. I'm not looking to lay frame, I just need more low. My buddies MkII GTI has about 2inches of learned and looks good so I'm aiming for about 3-4 which is currently where the MSS exhaust hangs.
I'm impressed the engine doesn't need a crossover. A couple local shops you build a system for it, so does anyone know where the stock mounting points are? I hate modifying the car so that it can't be returned to stock. Is it illegal to just take the exhaust straight out the sides in front of the cabin?
I like the function and appearance of camber. My MINI's camber is great because I can corner super sharply, I feel like the Sonett could as well with more camber and the lower cg from a lowering job. I never expected camber to be so simple on this car! Will add camber after it's lower!
One other question this brings me to is has anyone redrilled for a 4x100 pattern instead of the 5xhuge pattern.
My ultimate goal is a Motus V4 transplant, just need something to hold me over.
