Doubt you remember me...Andy has been pestered by me as well; I bought my first sonett last year in Eugene and drove it everyday after that to and from work. With all the hills around P-town, I couldn't help but want to skip work and just go driving (something I did on occasion)...and this with brakes that worked only half the time. I loved driving that sonett.
Well, I still have that sonett , and another to keep it company...and a whole slew of parts piled in the back yard, all to the dismay of the missus, but i'm in Utah now and I have never been so frustrated by traffic ( and this after having to deal with the I-5 I-84 interchange daily) and so disappointed by the roads. I don't know what they spend their taxes on here but it definately isn't on pavement upkeep.
There is one bright spot, though, when I really have time on my hands, there is the hobble creek canyon road I can cruise on that brings back "old" times and soothes the soul. Blessed be my sonett.
And as for my back, just an extra padded lunbar support seems to do the trick for me.
