We ran a couple of 96s with the a 2600 capri v6. The swap was easy. everything bolts on, flywheel, motor mounts, bell housing clutch. the car was a rocket and won lots of ice races. It did trash the transmission often. The better set up was to bore the 1700 engine out to fit mustang/ capri 2800 pistons, have the cylinder heads milled 70 thousants, install a cam and carb from motor sport service in Jamestown ny. the modified v4 was
as fast as the v6 and handled a lot better
