Spiv is sort of correct. There is a steel sleeve inside the rubber mount that the post on the aluminum case goes into and it is then thru-bolted. The rubber is not directly on the aluminum case; if it is, someone ripped the steel sleeve out of the mount. If you remove the smaller plug and put a drift through it, you want to just engage the steel sleeve. Don't put it inside the threaded hole or you will damage the threads. shine a flashlight in there while looking through the other hole and you can assess what you need to do. Then it's a matter of putting the drift in there and feeling where you have placed it. If you lift the engine so that the engine and transmission are being pulled slightly forward, the transmission should pop free with one hit on the drift.

This is the method shown in the factory repair manual.
