- 1977 Saab 99 GL (Posted 6/20/2022)
SOLD
Color: Coral White Trans: Manual Mileage: 131,518 Price: $7000
Selling my 99GL 2dr manual. Bought it several years ago through Saabnet. Hard to let it go, as I really enjoyed driving this car. It puts a huge smile on my face each time I take it out. 5-digit odo reads 31,518, but believed to be 131,518 miles. Runs and drives great. It didn't need anything, except: brand new set of 5 tires (date code 3221); brand new battery (mfd 01/22). Always garage kept, and never driven in the rain during my ownership. Paint has minor imperfections here and there but no known rust issue. Interior is in very decent shape. Seats have no tear or damage. A recently filmed driving video can be provided upon request. See my Saabnet.com Member Gallery for more photos: Click Here. I have several oil filters and air filters, as well as a few quarts of motor oil for the buyer to take home, free of charge.
- 1975 Saab 99 EMS (Posted 5/26/2022)
SOLD
Color: Silver Trans: Manual Mileage: 44,059 TMU Price: $1000
Bill of sale car. A solid restoration project or a great bunch of parts to finish your project. 1975 Saab 99 EMS. Manual. Fuel injection. The sporty edition of Saab’s 99 series. This is one I won't have time to get to. Does not run and I have not spent much time on it. No idea when it ran last. Looks complete. Even has a factory air-conditioning system. I might be able to help deliver if you are in north Texas. Previous owner said he got it out of storage somewhere in Ohio. He kept it covered. I kept it inside until recently. I lost space so it is outside at the moment. I’m afraid if I leave it in the Texas weather it will disintegrate before I ever get around to it. Spots of surface rust, but the only real rust is found at the bottom of the doors. Not uncommon with this model. Otherwise it is surprisingly solid. Does not run but motor is not locked up. Fuel system needs a complete clean out before you try to get the starter to work. 44,059 miles showing but total mileage unknown.
- 1975 Saab 99 Le Wagonback (Posted 4/13/2022)
SOLD
Color: Green Trans: Manual Mileage: ? Price: $1,000
In storage for over 20 years ran then, not now. Engine won't turn. Stuck in reverse. Manually depressing clutch so it can roll. Most likely for parts. Have owned it since 82. Missing 4 lugs for the soccer ball wheels. I moved it on a car dolly but not sure how far you want to do that. Sold, of course, as is. Pick up only. Not a ton of visible rust. One jack point is crushing. Do not know on the mileage. Second engine in the car put in at Meyer Garage in Iowa. Feel to call with any questions you may have. Hope this car can live on in some capacity. Thanks.
- 1974 Saab 99 LE (Posted 3/25/2022)
SOLD
Color: Indian Yellow Trans: Manual Mileage: X20,456 Price: $3800
The 99 is my favorite Saab, but realistically this project is out of my reach. I don't want to be that person holding on to it till it rots. Someone must have deeper passion for this car that will give it life it deserves. Don't know history on car, came from California. Far as I could research, it has remained on west coast. Currently located in Arizona. It doesn't run, not sure why. My intent was to swap the engine entirely so I don't have additional information on original engine. Car appears to be complete. Came with extra parts (see photos) not sure if they go to a 99, and repair manuals. Driver door only opens from inside. There are no keys. We don't get rust here so it's difficult to know what to look for. I checked under the car, tried to take many photos to expose any serious problems. Biggest issue looks like behind the driver rear tire. Black wheels not included. Wheels/tires in trunk are what will come with car. No idea what the market is. Investing transport/paperwork/storage into this car (additionally not wanting to let it go) is the reasoning for my price. Thank you.

- 1978 Saab 99 Turbo (Posted 7/20/2021)
SOLD
Color: Maroon Trans: Manual Mileage: 68,000 Price: $25,000
About 20 years ago I set out to replace the cars of my youth that I loved. I had a similar car while in college and it was always one of my favorites. I bought this car in 2001 after seeing the ad on Saabnet from a mechanic who claimed to have revived it after being stored in a barn in the early 1980's. He claimed the car was not running and head was removed when found. The appearance at the time was not great. It needed paint and interior was rough (dry rot) but it ran well. I wanted this car and wanted it to be free of rust which it absolutely is. The odometer read around 65,000 at the time of purchase and based upon a log book kept in the car until 1983 appeared to be accurate. The odometer worked intermittently due to cracked gear so I installed another speedometer for a period of time and recently put the original speedometer back in it after having it repaired. Technically I have to say the true mileage is unknown but following receipts for 20 years confirms it is a low mileage car. I set out to bring the car back to excellent condition. It was painted in the early 2000's and I had a graphic designer reproduce the striping which makes the car. Seats have been rebuilt and re-upholstered and the headliner replaced in the same time frame. Along with the body I also had the engine rebuilt replacing the clutch and water pump at the time. Anything the car needed it got and more. I have many cars and I make an effort to run at least one tank of gas through each annually but this car was not driven much more than that over the past 10 years or more. It has been inspected annually. The list of repairs and maintenance is extensive with a folder of receipts. The turbo has been rebuilt and the fuel distributor along the way. More recently the exhaust, battery and tires replaced to insure it is 100% reliable. It has been years since this car has been brought to shows. Quite possibly the last show was the 2008 Saab Convention. At the Convention this car won the concours for its class and also the Saab Heritage Award as it was the 30th anniversary of the Saab Turbo introduction. That year the car also appeared on the cover of the Nines Magazine. The award and a copy of the Nines will be included with the sale. I am retiring and hesitant to sell. This is a great car. - 1978 Saab 99 Turbo (Posted 2/11/2021)
SOLD
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 129,500 Price: $28,000
After two and a half years of work to fully rebuild this legend, I am offering it for sale. Bought by the original owner in upstate New York, this Saab 99 Turbo spent its entire life with that faithful owner up until the fall of 2018. Driven 128k fully document miles, it was parked with a leaky valve in 1987 and left untouched. After sitting 30 years in storage (climate controlled) I purchased the car along with its entire life's documents including original sales agreement, all service records, a notebook documenting fuel stops, and even contemporary marketing literature. I even have the NY license plates for the car and the original NY title. Upon having it shipped to me in Wisconsin I entered a 2+ year restoration. The engine was rebuilt with a slight overbore and a full set of custom pistons and a fully fresh rebuilt turbo. All mechanicals were gone through from the ground up on this car - it basically has only a couple hundred miles. Next, to correct older bodywork and aged paint, the car was completely stripped and redone in two-stage black. The small spots of rust that had started were completely repaired with fresh metal, dings removed, etc. The jams were left untouched to preserve all factory tags and plates though. The interior was kept mostly as-is, but the headliner and rear deck were recovered in correct OEM fabric and the front seat cushion springs replaced. The odometer was still working with no missing teeth but the speedometer was sent for full refurbishment to fix a sticking dial. Electronics were gone through to confirm all wiring is solid and all lights and features work like it did when new. My goal was to learn all about these unique cars; and complete a full restoration of a car to the point it was almost perfect, but just close enough that one could still enjoy driving it without feeling as though they were ruining it. I wanted the best car on the road, not one that "needed" to stay in a museum or garage on display. I think I achieved that. There are a couple cosmetic issues such as the dash peeling up, front passenger seat fabric, and rear interior cards that still may need some love - but that is at the next owner's discretion. I have well over $30,000 invested in this car, at least $20,000 in receipts for work I had the shop help with alone. I know I will never get it all back, though that was never the point of the build. That said, I know that when you see the project versions of these sell for $10,000 as they seem to be doing, they will need $20,000+ to get to this level. There is one closing on Bring A Trailer later today that still needs at least $10k+ to get to where mine is at, with true miles unknown vs mine being actual miles and full documents back to day one. I'd encourage anyone with the means and desire to go the route of restoring your own if you can wait that long - it is so much fun. For everyone else though, here is the finished product, and at a nice discount. Plenty of pics in the gallery of the car going through the restoration process, as well as how it looks today, and the documentation I have for it. More photos and videos can be taken of anything you need upon request. It is winter here so the car won't be leaving my climate controlled shop unless it is being moved or for pics, etc - but please feel free to come inspect and drive in person if you are serious. I'd love to show you around my fleet and introduce you to my Saab mechanic - literally one of the best in the country - so you can see how well this car was built. Please reach out with questions or offers. Willing to assist in shipping however I reasonably can.

Odometer has been at 36,000 since purchased. I have probably driven 2000 miles since last summer. Priced to sell.

- 1971 Saab 99E (Posted 6/3/2020)
SOLD
Color: Gray Trans: Manual Mileage: 189,600 Price: $1500
Up for sale is my original unrestored late 1970 Saab 99E with the 1.7 triumph engine and 4 speed freewheeling transmission. Was pulled out of a pole barn in October 2019 and had been sitting since 1993. The man I bought it from was the second owner and had owned it since 1976. Car has Bosch D-jetronic fuel injection and needs some help. The car idles rough and has a low end torque issue, is semi derivable. The car had had the gas tank cleaned out and new fuel line installed. The car has all new brake calipers, pads, and lines. Don't have the skills or financial resources to put this car back on the road fully, but would like to see it restored. The exterior has the original paint which has surface rust all over, and rusted through in three places. The floor pan and frame are solid. The interior is the original heavily worn cloth with plaid JC Whitney seat covers. Car is located in north east Ohio and has a current temporary registration and has been driven on the road, car also has new alternator belt. Telephone number is a google voice.
- 1978 Saab 99 Turbo (Posted 5/18/2020)
SOLD
Color: Black Cherry Trans: Manual Mileage: Price: $2000
99 turbo body, with 16v motor mated to original 4spd. Spare motor and 5spd included. This is a very nearly rust free body (beginning surface rust around wheels) with an older repaint on it. Airdam is aftermarket if I recall correctly. Started conversion to Megasquirt programmable injection system, got it running although not well, and I haven't had time to do anything with it for a couple of years. It starts but idles very high - you will need to spend some time tuning, or could convert back to LH system (I have all the stuff I took out). Car would need to be trailered home. Motor was rebuilt before I got the car, has probably less than 12K miles on the rebuild, although one of the seals does leak (surprise). In the last few years, new rebuilt starter and alternator. Car also has the rare center console with 3 DIN slots. Wiring for Megasquirt system needs to be cleaned up in passenger side footwell. Would love for the car to go to someone who can finish tuning it and drive it rather than use for parts.
- 1976 Saab 99 EMS (Posted 3/30/2020)
SOLD
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 116,000 Price: $3000 Or Best Offer

Have just about everything to finish putting car back together, all original parts are there. and interior is ready to put back together, just put the carpet back down really. Alternator died last year when I took it out however. Rear of car has been fully rebuilt, was moving to the front but no time and no garage now. rear of car is rust free, front passenger fender and inner fender need attention, (I have a full perfect original fender and wheel well) and will need some painting. Wheel are in rough shape and tires are junk. I have a very nice set of Carrol Shelby minilites for the car though. Please email for more pics. It's in tough shape but would really like to see someone with some cash save this car.
- 1976 Saab 99 GL Notchback (Posted 5/29/2019)
SOLD
Color: Red/Orange Trans: Manual Mileage: 58,062 Price: $6000 CDN.
2-Door Notchback. Rare Belgian-Made. Currently non-running - I purchased this car from the original owner about 2 years ago - It is in phenomenal original shape with only 1 repaint. Various paint chips but virtually rust free from top to bottom. I have several cars - including a daily driving 1977 Saab 99 EMS and I quite frankly have to thin the herd due to time and money (I have 2 vintage Fiats as well and a 66 Mercury Meteor). I will not be able to get to this car for a while and I promised the previous owner it would go to a good home... Which it did; however - this car deserves to be driven and enjoyed so I feel I must see if someone else would want to take her on and enjoy it. The car's gas tank needs a cleaning and the car turns over well (I bypassed gas tank with jerry can), unstuck fuel distributor and I was planning on changing plugs and wires - however - my time is limited between family, cars, renovations, yard work etc. I find I am driving my cars less and less and up in Canada (only 6 months of driving weather tops) - I need to be enjoying driving more! This is a rare Belgian made car which makes it even more unique - All original miles. Call or text Matt. Shipping not included.

Fuel tank has been refreshed and a new pump is installed. I have 2 engines that will go with the car. 1 has a scored crank from a broken connecting rod (original engine). The second engine that is in the car I purchased as "running" only to find out after I installed it that the timing gear is off the crank... Had big plans but beginning to lose interest as I lost my garage space... Killing me to sell it because I want to drive it in the worst way but I have no time to give to it and this car deserves a lot more. - 1978 Saab 99 EMS (Posted 10/13/2015) SOLD
Color: Cardinal Red Trans: Manual Mileage: 169,000 Price: $2900 OBO
Draken is a survivor '78 99 EMS 2-door Wagonback that has had three owners since new. Before my term at the helm it was owned by master Saab mechanic Walter Wong from Right Solution in Culver City, CA. Read the entire story here: Click Here.
She wears original paint, runs and drives well, is mechanically very solid, and wears a nice patina from the past 37 years of life in Southern California. No bondo, no sketchy repairs, no cheap resprays. A few small rust spots on door, and hatch (see pics) but underside (and fenders) are completely rust free. Upper and lower control arms, brake rotors, hubs, pads, master cylinder, axles, radiator core, and fan are all from the prolific Saab 900. Brakes are strong, steering is tight, suspension is good, tires are a hodgepodge of various brands, but do the job. Wheels are Inca Alloys.
- 1977 Saab 99 GL Two-Door Sedan (Posted 5/26/2015) SOLD
Color: Cream Trans: Manual Mileage: ~160,000 Price: $4800 (a very good price!)
1977 Saab 99 GL, 2-door sedan. Great car; readily drivable, reliable,
well-serviced, etc. 2nd owner, past 20 years. A New Mexico auto entire life, so
no winter salty roads etc. My regular-use auto, but low use. It's just a
half-hour drive to town, usually once a week for food and errands. For past 10
winters, put on blocks, battery removed, and wrapped with car-cover (included)!
Thus, it has had good sitting time, good exercise, and good maintenance
(well-maintained by Saab mechanic friend). . . and has never been in an
accident! As most old Saab's, the odometer stopped around 134,000 approx 8 yrs
ago; doubtful more than 160,000 now. Great new paint job about 6 years ago ..
cream color. One small dent area above left-front wheel; and one tiny rust spot
at right-rear reflector. All new tires and battery. Front & back seats have
covers; only the passenger seat bottom cushion needs a new support harness
(which my mechanic has for me!). Interior is 90% okay. Dashboard etc. not
cracked (always with a carpet); sun reflectors included (front & back windows);
a Kenwood CD player/tuner in console. Everything is tight, works, looks and
feels good! Runs well; no problems. Everything under the hood is fine. Engine
head got replaced in 2001, and of course other work also; transmission also got
rebuilt in the past; fuel injectors overhauled last year, etc. etc. I have
service and original owner's manuals; and most paperwork on important things
done over the years. Time to let this good friend find a new home; at 71, me
also. A more accurate condition rating would be: Very Good.
- 1976 Saab 99 GL Wagonback (Posted 4/28/2015) SOLD
Color: Topaz Yellow Trans: Manual Mileage: 105,342 Price: $2500
For sale my 1976 Topaz Yellow Saab 99 Wagonback. I have owned from new. Its last
Pa State Inspection was 2006.The car has been parked at my home since then. The
car starts right up runs and drives. Tail lights, headlights, turn signals, horn
all work. Brakes are good as well and work fine. Transmission is good, clutch
has around 1000 miles on it. It was never involved in a collision. A factory Tow
hitch is also installed. The odometer stopped working in the early 90's. The car
became an occasional driver around 1988. I estimate mileage is around 130,000
miles. Everything is original with the car. There are some rust issues that will
need to be addressed. It needs an exhaust header gasket, wiper arm spring, all
four tires are dry rotted, headliner needs re-done, temperature gauge not
working. As the car sits now it starts right up and the motor idles great. Just
a bit loud because of the header gasket leaking. She needs a good home and
restored. Be glad to answer any questions about my Saab and can send more
pictures to interested buyers.

- 1976 Saab 99 GLE 4 Door (Posted 8/16/2014) SOLD
Color: Brown Trans: Automatic Mileage: 154,123 Price: $2000
1976 Saab 99 GLE 4 Door Automatic.I bought this car at a charity auction a few weeks ago and had it towed to the storage facility it is at now. It is NOT RUNNING.I sprayed starting fluid in the intake and though it readily turns over and did hicup a couple of times it didn't come close to starting. I also played around with the distributor with the key on and got a pretty good shock so there is power to the distributor. This is where I gave up and havn't been back except to take some pics and replace the battery. Right now I'm feeling it is the distributor. The body and interior on this car is nic. The seats dash and carpet are beautiful but the door panels have a few waves and the headliner is drooping. The tires are still nice and match and the body is nearly rust free and the paint is not peeling. This is a very nice example of a GLE 99 The price is $2000 FIRM!! Call and leave a message if no answer.
- 1978 Saab 99GL 3dr hatchback (Posted 9/4/2014) SOLD
Color: Brown Trans: Manual Mileage: 66,954 Price: $875
Original owner, clean VA title. Car was regularly serviced and maintained until April 2003; it has been in my driveway since. At the time, it needed a new muffler and brake pads in order to pass VA inspection. I never got around to those repairs. Original tan interior is in good condition, except head liner needs replaced. No air conditioning or radio (neither was ever installed, so no center console). Odometer stopped at 66,954; I averaged approximately 5,000 miles per year. Glass is all good. Engine was in great condition at the time I stopped driving the car; water pump and clutch were replaced. Exterior has surface rust and areas where the primer shows through (due to prior regular polishing). No major accidents, although front left door and quarter panels were replaced shortly after purchase (someone hit it while parked); some rust through on that quarter panel. Dent in the left rear panel due to a minor accident. Includes full spare, and original jack. Car must be towed by purchaser – all tires need to be replaced, needs a complete muffler and a new battery. Great project car.

- 1978 Saab 99 GL 2dr (Posted 5/27/2014) SOLD
Color: Sahara Trans: Manual Mileage: 113,412 Price: $1700
Here is your chance to take over my project that I had for a while. I bought this from a dealer in Grand Prairie. TX. I have pictures of the car when I got it from him. It had sat. I spent thousands trying to get it to this point and I'm giving up. If you seriously want a super cool Saab project and have cash in hand then contact me. I have clear TX title in my name. The brakes, clutch, transmission, engine etc. are excellent. It is a 4 speed manual. The paint is original and looks nice for being 36 years. Interior is excellent and could use a clean up. It is a A/C car and the headliner needs to be fixed. Dash has no cracks. Seats have no splits. etc. You can hear the engine run by spraying starting fluid on the intake and it is sound but it needs a fuel accumulator and distributor to keep it running. Please feel free to make offer close to the asking price. I need to let it go but no low offers. The car has no rust. Has very low miles. I can take payment through paypal no problem if that makes it easy for you. A very solid fun project it is not far from finishing. Update!!! The car is running smooth now but does not engage in gear due to stuck clutch or transmission not sure and don't want to lie. If you want to buy it as it is - New Price Drop to $1700!!

New headliner, brakes, clutch etc. Fuel injected 4-cylinder/ 4-speed runs great. Inca wheels on excellent tires plus complete extra set of the stock steel wheels/chrome caps on nearly new tires. Ready to drive and show- could obviously be a classy every day driver if you wanted. No rust. No disappointments. Clean Virginia title. Serious offers considered.

- 1977 Saab 99 GL (Posted 11/16/2013) SOLD
Color: Brown Trans: Manual Mileage: 82,000 Price: $1700
Bought this off Saabnet a few weeks ago from the original owners estate. I bought it to keep it in the community. I have since stripped interior and washed everything, replaced headliner and shampooed carpets. Car was quite musty inside from being in a garage for 5 plus years. I am currently putting it back together. The asking price is for my total investment so far. Price is firm as my intention was to get this to a proper owner but not for profit. It does have AC, but I have not checked it yet. It has a sticking caliper in the rear and a small exhaust leak. Will need a valve cover gasket. Tires are very old and should be replaced. Car can be finished to any stage agreed upon for an additional fee. Engine runs well and transmission is quiet. Appears to have no floor or chassis rust. Great project with plenty of time to get it to Carlisle!

- 78 Saab 99 Turbo (Posted 8/1/2013) SOLD
Color: Anthracite Trans: Manual Mileage: 121,000 Price: $4600
I am the second owner of this anthracite turbo. Stored out of the weather in barn for years. It has newer headliner, rebuilt calipers, rebuilt fuel tank, rebuilt alternator, newer battery and tires. 1" rear sway bar. Runs and drives well. Very little rust since it is from Oregon. Excellent candidate for full restoration. Needs some body work and full paint as it has faded on the roof etc. I have lots of spare parts including fabric from rear seat to recover front seats. Speedometer needs to be rebuilt as the odometer gear is broken and the speedo sticks.

I would like to sell in the next couple of days (10/11/13). Selling a 1977 SAAB 99 GL. Single owner since the car was new and all original parts from what I can tell. The car starts and runs but may have a leakage issue with the coolant as some steam comes out of the hood when the engine is warm. The rear brakes also seem to stick a little bit. Other than that, the car is in beautiful shape. It has been garaged and maintained by a SAAB enthusiast for its whole life. No rust on the body and interior is in good shape. Looking for price above but most importantly a great home. Please feel free to contact with any inquiries or requests for additional pictures. Car needs to go quickly. Open to negotiations.
- 1978 Saab 99 Turbo (Posted 4/3/2013) SOLD
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 61,654 Price: $10,000
Almost museum condition. All original striping, chin spoiler and hard plastic 3rd door spoiler. Not a restored vehicle. Garage kept for over 30 years. Both left side interior panels have some peeling. Water pump seals leak, but not so much when warm. Have new GMB kit just haven't had time to install. Can't speak for accuracy on odometer but don't think it's too far off.
- 1984 Saab 99 GL (Posted 3/14/2013) SOLD

Imported through Canada many years ago. Has rust in lower quarter panels. Floors are good. Price is firm as I am very upside down in this car. - 1973 Saab 99 LE (Posted 4/30/2012) SOLD
Color: Copper Coral Trans: Manual Mileage: 61,000 Price: $5400
I hate to sell this car, but I've become a one-car person, and we are moving to a place with no garage...I hate to submit this awesome classic car to the mileage and lack of garage space. I bought it about 5 months ago from a great Saab mechanic, who did many many things to restore the car mechanically. It doesn't leak a drop of oil, and I doubt you will find an engine this clean in a Saab 99, or even a 3 year old car for that matter. Here is the list of what the previous owner did: Rebuilt and balanced the engine. Newer type head and valve cover (with improved rail custom kit). Transmission upgraded to rebuilt 5-speed. Upgraded and rebuilt alternator and starter. Reconditioned wiper transmission. Front brakes upgraded to 81-87 style calipers, pads, discs and cables. Front outer CV joints upgraded to 900 style. Steering knuckles to 81-87 style hubs and ball joints. Reconditioned soccer ball wheels. Better seats from '81 900. New heater valve, flushed core and reconditioned heater fan. Belts upgraded to better 900 style. Stereo system and electric antenna. Re-sealed all wheel wells and body, plus undercoated. Several other little things, very meticulously done. It's an awesome car, ready to go. It could use a new aux air valve, but that is the only thing. Email me for more photos or to come see it.

- 1977 Saab 99 Wagonback (Posted 9/9/2011) SOLD
Color: red Trans: Manual Mileage: Unknown Price: $2100 OBO
This 1977 Saab 99 is in great condition. It was owned by the original owner for 26+ years before she sold it to her adult son in 2003. All those years the car lived in Portland, OR. In 2010 an enthusiast in Cambridge, MA purchased the car (though it was not driven in the Winter.) The original window sticker and almost all the repair records are intact, and it runs beautifully. I had hoped to spend more time with this car and tend to a few details, though I'm working more and more - it deserves a home where someone can bett
er appreciate it! It has a great Alpine stereo that interfaces with an iPod, along with a recently updated interior. It could be dri
ven cross-country tomorrow - it's a very strong runner. There are a few specks of rust here and there, though the body-shell, underc
arriage and all suspension supports are completely intact. Mileage is unknown - odometer stopped at 139,XXX miles. Car is in Blue Mo
unds, WI, which is very near Madison. More photos: https://picasaweb.google.com/100117618333896713076/1977Saab99?authuser=0&feat

1980 beauty with only 39,141 on the odometer! Four speed--clutch in excellent shape. I've owned this car for 11 years and, as you can tell, have only "driven it on weekends." Recently sold the home where it was kept, so we have no place for it. Hate to see it go, but it's time. Please give Ol Blue a good home.

- 1978 Saab 99 (Posted 10/9/2009) SOLD
Color: Brown Trans: Manual Mileage: 140,000 Price: $2000
I bought this car off of Saabnet 3 or 4 years ago from the previous owner out in Oregon and had it shipped to the east coast. The c
ar is a 4 speed and with the exception of a few updates is original. The car is solid and the only rust is where there are a few sm
all stone dents or where a roof rack might have rubbed. The paint is faded but the shell is solid. The car is a 4 speed with a non
turbo 4 cylinder and stock exhaust. I have converted to 900 front hubs, installed SPG springs and spring spacers, Bilstein shocks up
front, H1 High beams, Electric water pump, Shelby wheels and BFG tires, new radiator, and a sport steering wheel. Headliner is not
sagging and the interior is good with a little tearing of the fabric on the C pillars. The speaker in the drivers door is in need o
f a new mount. The car also is wired for towing and has a tow mount setup. More photos can be seen here:

- 1978 Saab 99 Turbo (Posted 8/21/2009) SOLD
Color: Maroon Trans: Manual Mileage: 35,000 (fo Price: $8,000 OBO
Here's another gem from East of Sweden. This car was "rescued" from south Denver where it sat in a garage under a tarp f
or the better part of 15 years. The previous owner bought the car in 1980 and drove it only a few years before the engne blew up (or
so he thought). We recieved the car about a year ago and we did not even turn it over. We pulled the engine/tranny and tore down bo
th the engine and transmission. I turns out the motor was fine, but the turbo was wasted. We rebuilt the original tranny and engine.
Engine had the head worked, new headgasket, timing chain, piston rings, main/rod bearings, timing chain tensioner and guide. We als
o had another orignal 99 turbo rebuilt and have repaced it along with the wastegate diaphram. To finish the build we used our last b
rand new 12-cog waterpump! I have pictures of every step of the build if requested. The body on the car is nearly flawless and compl
etely free of ANY rust. No salt in Colorado make our bodies some of the cleanest around. The only flaw is some chipped paint on the
drivers door. It cold use paint, but I left it alone so it can be seen in its original, untampered condition. The interior is pretty
amazing. In fact, last week at the SOC, I was told several times our interior was nicer than the interior of the identical 99T from
GM's heritage collection! The headliner is also brand new. With very little effort this could be on of the nicest examples of this
very rare car in the country. Car is located at your 99 heaquarters, East of Sweden,in Broomfield, CO. If you have any questions or
would like to see this running, driving, showpiece; please give us a call at the shop days. In fact, give us a call for any of SAAB
parts or service needs :)

- 1975 Saab 99 EMS (Posted 1/19/2008) SOLD
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 173,540 Price: $1,500
Black 1975 SAAB 99 EMS. Has been parked in my garage and not driven since May of 1995. When I turned it off for the last time it was running well. Many years ago I drained the oil and the coolant, but left the fuel in the tank. The odometer shows 173,540 miles. I got the car in the summer of 1985 when it had about 88,000 miles. Since purchasing the car, I've kept every repair receipt, and can recount its history in detail, at least while I've owned it. Three unique things about this particular car are the factory sliding sunroof, 120 mph speedometer, and front spoiler. I have the original owners manual, Saab brochures from 1975, spare EMS emblem, car cover, nose bra, and an extra steering wheel. It has been a joy to own, and I would love for this car to be restored and cared for.
