Bud also went through the car and replaced the water pump and tuned it including setting the valves and fixed several previous ~Sfixes~T that were not up to his standard. This car has a sticker on the window saying it is a car from SAAB ANA, the dealership in Trollhatten, Sweden so it probably was originally a Swedish delivery car. Tires are good. Car cruises great with not shimmy or shake. Suspension tight as well. Fairly new rear shocks (3 years ago) and a set of brand new front shocks still in the box waiting to be put on. Have original owners manual/papers/1974 copy of Missouri title and some receipts from 2004 from a previous owner. Car passed PA inspection and is a solid daily driver. Mileage seems to be true. Known issues: Blower motor fuse blows now and then, clock does not keep accurate time, 2nd gear syncro bad (can not shift into 2nd, but can start in 2nd), some minor rust underneath along rockers, Inner fenders rusted, but does not look to be structural. Overall, VERY solid car. I recently drove from CT to ME with not problems getting 33 mpg. I drive the car about 2 times a week and it starts every time. I am selling the car because I have nowhere to store it over the winter and don't want to subject it to the harsh Maine winter. Can e-mail pictures if SERIOUS about purchasing vehicle.

- 1967 Saab 95 Wagon GT (Posted 10/11/2007) SOLD
Color: faded blue Trans: Manual Mileage: 94,000?? Price: $1500 OBO
1967 95 Wagon with a transplanted 1965 850 GrandTurismo 3 cyl oil injected motor. THIS CAR NEEDS A GOOD HOME MY TWO V4'S ARE ALL I CAN HANDLE. Wheels have been converted to 5 bolt with front disk brakes. I made new Igg wires and added a capacitor igg.The car start and runs (see the but's below). I also have the original motor, generator, starter and more. The original 3 cyl did run when removed. Also in the package are many parts including fenders & panels (some factory new), extra exhaust. Email me for a zip file of pics aprox 3,800KB. The car has a valid Colorado title. But's: The car needs to be towed or trailered to its new home. I just started it up after sitting for almost a year in my yard and drove it thru deep gravel. The battery does not hold a charge, and the brakes need to be bleed (may happen if I have time). The fuel gague does not work and the clock does not keep correct time. Also the hood release cable broke and I needed to cut the hood bolt to get it opened. The oil pump dash light just stopped working. Ask any questions, I'll try to answer them.
- 1963 Saab Grandturismo 850 (Posted 4/4/2007) SOLD
Color: White Trans: Automatic Mileage: N/A Price: $1000 OBO
I must sell my dream car! I've had it for 4 years and my health has not improved, nor my finances. This car has surface rust on the outside but the floors, shock towers and all of the chassis are solid. The man I got this from put a Subaru engine and trans in the car, when he did this he cut the firewall where the rear trans mount goes, this will have to be replaced. The interior is in good shape and is original as far as I can see. I have most of the trim except for the bumpers. Please call me if you have any questions.

- 1973 Saab 96 (Posted 4/11/2007) SOLD
Color: White Trans: Manual Mileage: 131,000 Price: $1,500
I finally have to let her go-my '73 Saab 96 project. The car is originally from North Carolina so it has virtually zero rust. The floors had two rusted areas that were repaired. There was some rust out around the windshield so the windshield was removed and new metal welded in-good as new. The restoration is well underway on this car. I was in the process of converting to the 1968 model year body style so the car comes with the older style grille and fenders as well as the original ones. The interior is complete but removed for the cars paint job-I was changing the color and wanted to do a thorough job. The glass has been removed also for this reason. There is no rust on the body panels-the doors are perfect. Here's the really good part. Mechanically, the car is excellent. It has the 1700 cc V4 which was completely overhauled 100 miles ago. The gearbox is quiet and smooth. There is a brand new clutch, release bearing, and pressure plate installed. The brakes have been rebuilt using new front rotors. All four ball joints are brand new. The car has new CV joint boots(factory type non split) and new shocks front and rear. I was driving this car before I disassembled it for restoration. This is the really good news- I had the front and rear bumpers and the trunk handle show chromed and they are beautiful. They are the older stlye bumpers with the metal guards. These will look great on this car or any other old Saab. This car also comes with every spare part that I was able to take from a junked '71. Please note that the asking price basically just covers the cost of the chrome plating-I just really need this car to go to a loving home where the restoration might be completed. Whomever purchases this car MUST take all the parts with it-I need them to all go at once. Shipping will also be the buyers responsibility but I should be able to store this car for a couple more months. If anyone requires any pictures of anything about this car, please e-mail me and I will happily honor your request. Thanks for looking.

Recent balance shaft gear, clutch, brake lines and shocks. Freewheel works great. Has soccerball alloys, vintage hella driving lights, sonett steering wheel and "donut hole" head rest inserts. Paint still shines up beautifully. Could be a concours winner with minimal effort. Email me for more pictures.

- 1972 Saab 96 (Posted 5/29/2006) SOLD
Color: red Trans: Manual Mileage: na Price: $800
This car has been in our family for a long time but we do not have the time to give it the loving that it deserves. My brother was driving the car last summer as his daily driver until the water pump started leaking. I bought the car from him and replaced the water pump. upon completion of that repair noticed that it was not right and noticed the coolant and oil mixing so I think he let it overheat and the headgasket must have failed. I has the v-4 1700cc engine but I do not have the time to repair it. The body or the car has some rust but it will make someone a great car. If you have any questions of would like more photos you can email me. thanks for looking.

- 1972 Saab Model 96 (Posted 5/22/2006) SOLD
Color: Green Trans: Manual Mileage: na Price: $600
1972 Saab Model 96. Car is located in Western New York. I was planning on keeping this one, but I am pending a European job transfer, and I can't let the SAAB sit in storage. The 96 is originally from out west, and I am the second owner. I obtained the 96 with the intention of stripping the car down to the shell, and making some sort of rally car, but the SAAB was just too nice.. Here's the good and the bad. Good: New shocks. Rebuilt front brakes, w/braided hoses. Rebuilt FoMoCo carb. New 165 tires w/soccerball wheels Presentable interior. SAAB locking gas cap. All glass good. Radiator cleaned. New fuel pump, New voltage regulator, plugs, points, Was driven to it's current location in Wilson, NY. Body is 95% rust free, the only areas of rust needing attention are the rockers. DOES NOT EFFECT THE SOUNDNESS OF THE SAAB. The OK: 1500 motor out of an early V-4. Motor runs strong, and was just installed for a temp motor. It should be upgraded to a 1700 to be correct. Left rear fender not perfect, spare included. Right front fender not perfect, has a NOS replacement included. Paint is an older repaint, although flawed, I think it adds character. The Bad: The exhaust, while present, needs attention. No holes, but should be re-hung.. The dash pad is warped from the heat. Transmission, although shifts fine, will need to be upgraded. Freewheel pops in and out, but it's more of a pain than anything. A nice tranny with less than 20,000 miles is included. The SAAB has not been started since July 05, and is currently in outside storage under a car cover. I may or may not have photos of the 96 left on my computer. I'm asking price above (I am flexible on the price) for the SAAB as it sits. The SAAB just has to go. Contact me via e-mail.
- 1967 Saab 96 3 CYL (Posted 4/27/2006) SOLD
Color: White Trans: Manual Mileage: 30K Price: $7500 OBO
This is a 1967 Saab 96 that had been stored in a barn for years. It had a 1968 inspection sticker, and has a California AAA sticker on the trunk. The metal work is all original and almost totally rust free. The engine, which is oil injection, runs excellent, the four speed transmission is nice and quiet. The rear brakes have new wheel cylinders, shoes, and brake hoses. The fronts have all new wheel cylinders and new hoses, the shoes were is good condition. The front tires are new and the rears are in good condition. This car is a registered daily driver, has the original interior in very good condition. From the appearance of the car and interior I believe the 30k is the original mileage. It appears to have an accident repair on the left side side panel and rear fender, but fixed properly. The one problem is the paint, it needs repainting due to the pigeons pooping on it in the barn. You can drive it this season and paint it in the winter. Additional Email Pictures available.
- 1972 Saab 95 (Posted 3/23/2006) SOLD
Color: Red Trans: Manual Mileage: 74,000 Price: $1500
Time to get rid of all my Saab projects. Wife has new car and wants to park it in the garage! I have been working on this wagon for 3 years as time allows. The guy I bought it from said it was in good condition, he lied. The entire chassis has been stripped and blasted. All bare metal has been treated with rust preventative. I had started patching the holes but repairing the house became more important. I have many pictures of the wagon so you know just what you're getting into. I also have a four page listing of new parts that go with this project. Some of the highlights are new windshield, 2BBl carb and manifold, new brake housings for the front and wheel cylinders for the rear,Stainless brake hose,Pertronix ignition kit,at least one new front fender, new OEM patch panels for the floor and so on. I wish I could finish this project as I've always wanted a newer 95 but it's not going to happen. My loss, somebody's gain. I'm asking price above mainly for all the parts that go with the car. This is a package deal. I won't break it up and sell parts separately. This car must go!
