9000 CV boot replacement [saabnet.com]

Subject: 9000 CV boot replacement ================= Help!
I have the CV boot off and it looks like the snap ring is expanded. In fact, it appears that the axle has at least partially moved, as much as I can see from the open area around the snap ring. However, I can't get the axle or hub to move any more. I was following the procedure outlined at quasimotors.com but just can't get any further.
Any pointers on how to get the axle out of its socket would really be appreciated.
Thanks, Steve ----- 9Motors.com SF Bay Area Saab Source http://9motors.saabnet.com
