F35 and F40 transaxles...same differential? [saabnet.com]

Subject: F35 and F40 transaxles...same differential? ================= Can someone with a recent parts catalog tell me if the differential carrier of a recent 9-3 with a 6-speed transaxle is the same as on a 5-speed. I.e., whether the GM F40 transaxle uses the same differential as the F35.
I want to know because if that is the case, then Quaife has a limited slip differential for the F40 application. Their application guide only lists the F35.
Thanks, Sonny (Baltimore) ================ To send a response, just hit reply! The Saab Network - On the Internet Since 1988 http://www.saabnet.com/
