Steven Fraser is a master SAAB technician with over 10 years of experience
working on all models. I highly recommend him and his partner Marshall to any
SAAB owner who is looking for a friendly, honest, and fair technician for
their SAAB. They have treated me very well and I am very impressed with their
service.

Had a very positive experence with Drive for Life. He solved my
ignition switch problem on my 89 900 in no time and at a fair price. I
found him through Saab Network for my son who is a student at UNLV.

Dave White has been taking care of my cars for years. Always, always fair
and reasonable. Knows 900s inside and out. He helped me get going from his
cell phone for an hour, no charge!! His customers come from San Diego and
the Bay Area.

My father bestowed his beautiful (albeit high mileage) Saab 900 unto me for
my 16th birthday. I, of course, have driven it like a teenager. Somehow the
car still runs and is extremely reliable, thanks to Dave White's great work
at Saabs Unlimited. The Ignition Coil went bad on the car, so it would not
move for more than about 1/2 mile without stalling, if it started at all.
Dave helped me diagnose the problem, and sent me the parts and walked my
through fixing it myself. I was charged for parts and shipping. Better that
than having a mechanic tell you to "bring 'er in." I live 70 miles away
from Saabs Unlimited in South Lake Tahoe, and the car will only be worked
on by that shop. Every Saab driver deserves a man like Dave to keep their
car in tip-top shape.

Dave White has been my Saab mechanic for OVER 11 years. I've driven a 1986
900 Turbo for most of that time. And, I credit Dave with helping me get
that car to a QUARTER OF A MILLION MILES before I sold it. Dave is the best
Saab mechanic in the Reno-Tahoe area and probably well beyond that reach. I
went through SEVERAL mechanics who did me wrong before I found DAVE. He
lives these cars and drives one too. An honest Saab mechanic who has always
doen right by me.

I can only agree with the previous submissions. Whole heartedly at that. Just
to give you all an idea as to how long I've been a satisfied customer of
Dave’s services, please read on. It goes back to 1977 when I first considered
acquiring a Saab. Living in Lake Tahoe a neighbor was driving a Wagonback
Saab that basically got me interested. He eventually suggested to talk to Dave
about Saab's in general. At the time Dave was working out of one bay at his
dad's 76UNION Station at the South Shore of Tahoe. Ultimately, I ordered a new
'78 Saab Turbo from a dealer in Reno. This was a new model on the market, a
hot one at that. Great car as many probably know, along with a few infant
problems in the first couple of years. Well, the dealer took care of that. As
time went on I consulted with Dave more and more about minor problems etc. and
always felt that he really was into these cars and understood what it takes
to service them, unlike the dealer in Reno. Needless to say I became a loyal
customer. Over the years Dave was the only one that touched any of the Saab's
that I have owned. His advise always helped me make the right decisions in
getting or selling a Saab until this day. At one point he called me to let me
know that he had an '85 SPG that a customer wanted to trade-in for a new
Eagle Talon and that I should look at. I bought that Saab two days later and
still drive it today(as a third car) with 257,000 miles on it in 2001! One
other car of our's is a 9000 Turbo that Dave serviced and looked after
also. To really emphasize on his exceptional care and know-how, let me mention
this: I've been living in Las Vegas now since 1993 and have actually driven
both cars on several different occasions up to Reno (that's a 7hr. drive and
a 1hr.flight back), just to correct items and look after things that local
Saab mechanics or the dealer couldn’t get right or wanted to charge me an arm
and a leg for. This, along with countless advise over the phone, has helped me
to keep my cars in good shape over the years. Do I recommend Dave as you next
mechanic? Don't even hesitate to call him! He is the one to see.
