Don Johnson is a very talented auto mechanic with a background in

enginnering who enjoys the challenges of working on European cars and

who appreciates European cars enough to own them himself. (Many mechanics

here do not).  He is always telling me how Saabs are "over-engineered"

but saying it in a sense that he appreciates the engineering.

I have never been disappointed in having Don work on my Saabs.  (He has

worked on four or five of mine and I know he has worked on many other

customers' Saabs).  He is old school in that he actually tries to fix

broken parts when he can.  His engineering background makes him very adept

at understanding schematics, especially electronic ones.  He has always

been fast, fair, and on schedule with his service.  He allows me to purchase

parts online and he is  quite willing to put them on for me for a fair labor

charge.

I highly recommend him.

James Moore has nine years working with SAAB's, is certified, etc.  Worked

for SAAB dealer here (Gosset), then Swedish Solution, which just exited the

SAAB business.  Working by appointments only. I know of no other non-dealer

SAAB options within 150 miles of Memphis. From town, East on I-40 to Exit

14 (Whitten Road), then go north to Hillshire Circle. The Shop is behind

the Blue Bell creamery.
