NORCROSS, Ga. - Saab Cars USA, Inc. has announced plans to transition its advertising creative development to Lowe Brindfors, a Swedish agency based in Stockholm, Sweden and part of the Lowe Group. Lowe Brindfors will open an office in the Atlanta area to fully support the creative development and production for Saab Cars USA's advertising needs. Saab Cars USA's current agency, The Martin Agency, will continue to handle direct marketing duties.
The decision to change creative agencies is based solely on our desire to consolidate efforts and improve our responsiveness to local market needs," said Dan Chasins, President of Saab Cars USA, Inc. "The Martin Agency has been an excellent creative source and will continue to be one of our strongest partners. However, Lowe Brindfors handles the global creative efforts for Saab Automobile AB and working with them on a local level will remove the complexity of using two different agencies."
Lowe Brindfors will handle all tactical and brand advertising for Saab Cars USA Inc. The transition is expected to occur in May 2001.
Saab Cars USA, Inc. is the importer of Saab 9-5 and 9-3 automobiles for Saab Automobile AB and is headquartered in Norcross, Ga., near Atlanta.
