She only has 157K miles! > >I have tried staples but they are coming out. > >I know this is a common problem with older Saabs--I just don't know the >solution. > >thanks, >markrainnopsamdnet.att.net Im at 180k and I just re-did my head liner... very easy! take all the hardware off like the visors mirrors etc.. and the seat belts (the bolt on the pillar) off and pull the black pillars down .. you will probally tear the clips off ... no big deal you are going to have to silicon them back in to place (take silicon and squeeze it in there and put a soda can wedged up against the seat and let it sit there for a day) take the head liner out and strip all the crap off and the foam (this suck and there is no easy way to scrap the crap off) go to pepboys and buy some headline material (foam backed cloth) and dont use there shitty spray glue, I did and it fell down 3 days later... Im going to go to the hardware store and get some tile adhesive or I may just spread out some silicon... any ways just stretch out the fabric and glue and staple the edges.... this is very easy, it will cost you $40 and 2 hours to get it out and cleaned.. and however you want to glue it (overnigh is my suggestion) and about 1 hour to put it back in... good luck... mattz Tell the truth then run...
