I hadn't considered a "generic" solution to the cat problem. I'll check with a muffler shop to see what kind of cat they can provide. The previous owner went that route and (probably unbeknownst to her) the "mechanic" welded a single-inlet cat to the dual down-pipes (using a 2-into-1 adapter). When I bought the car from her daughter, she said that the "car had lost a lot of power" around the time the cat was replaced. No wonder. A dual inlet / dual outlet cat is what I need. I'll look for a "generic" type. Thanks. Enjoy, Dave -- Dave Carpenter Sound Logic
