Wow- how exaclty did you do that? I tried 1 inch brass bolts and about every configuration with the existing mounting holes in the CD changer (CDC635) and it seeemed I'd have to use something other than the brackets provided with the SAAB mounting kit. To get the changer to mount without being offset (not centered) and flush with the mouth of the "hole or slot" was a challenge I guess I wasn't up to! The kit should also come with a template or more complete diagram that maps out where to cut the trim and where the mounting bolts on the car are (I mean their exact location. My assumption was that they don't want to make it too easy for someone to self install the thing. If you have more detailed description of what you did, I'd be all ears.
