I have acquired an 86 Saab 900 base model with a little over 70k miles from the original owner. It looks like the maintenance log was kept up to date until around 45k. My question is: how important is it to keep get those extensive 60k and 90k maintenance jobs done. I haven't priced them yet, but the valve adjustment and all the other work to be done looks like it would be quite expensive. Is there a minimum that should be done other than the routine plugs, rotor, pcv, etc? The car runs great with no apparent problems. Thanks for any input. _________________________________________________________________ Greg Youngen St. Joseph, IL
