Not so long ago I was driving my parents Saab 9000CD. Of course I was meant to be driving it, with no insurance. So I'm doing 180 kph on a slight hill and there is a corner about 500 m away, so I start to brake. I am sure I only just softly started braking but the next thing I knew I was on the other side of the road, facing sideways, with a bank tearing past my eyes. Now I thought that with ABS braking shouldn't be too much of a problem. Anyway, the first thought, after the mandatory "damn my mum's gonna kill me", was to let go of the brakes, which I did. Somehow I spun round the other 180 degrees and was facing the way I started, so I just drove off. It was incredible. I measured it to be a 200 metre skid, from 180 to 0, and there was absolutely nothing wrong with the car. The best rush of all time, but I wouldn't recommend trying it: it was a one in a million chance of no damage.
