I have a puzzle and I wonder if anybody can help. My SAAB 90 1985 has run flawlessly for some years. Always started first time even in minus 20 celsius. Never missed a beat. Then one morning .. it was difficult to start. When it did start after many attempts it ran for one minute (perfectly) then stopped. There was a spark at the plug so I suspected fuel. Checked the fuel flow from the pump and it was ok. Cranked the engine a few more times and checked the spark plug and it was wet. Back to ignition. Checked for spark again but this time there was no spark. But there was definately a spark the first time I checked. I live miles and miles from any garage so I am stuck, unless I want an expensive tow to the service station. Can anybody suggest any checks that I can do to determine the faulty component or wiring. Thanks in advance Alan Hull
