TIAV. > > Gene vw nut soon to be a saaber Look for any evidence of regular oil and filter changes,preferably with good stuff like mobil one.Also check for any transmission whine in 4th/5th whilst coming on and off the gas , if it's noisy ,find any car,as the pinion bearings are on the way out!. Other than that there are no specific problems i'm aware of,but a change of shocks at this mileage is a good idea.I always use sachs,fitted as oe,but only about £25 each from most factors-but always use saab mounting rubbers,not those supplied with the shocks.
