As long as there is no mechanical problem, and you take regular oil samples, there is every reason to expect 100,000 miles or more between changes using AMSOIL synthetic. Can't tell you what the other synthetics will do. Have a friend with over 225,000 miles on his Dodge Ram turbo diesel--never drained the oil since first put in. Over the road trucks have gone over 400,000 miles without a drain. Numerous gas engine cars have gone over 100,000. The key to extending the drain interval that far is regular oil analysis. If you have a bad EGR system, plugged PCV system, leaky head gasket--these will show up in the oil samples (or in the oil). In that case, you have to drain the oil, fix the problem, and start over. The AMSOIL Bypass Filter will remove water and filter out particles less than 1 micron in size.
