I'm 187cm (do your own inch convertion, please) and the seats in my 900 fits me just perfect. I'm not only thinking about the adjustments/leg room, but also the fact that the seat follows my back all the way up to the shoulders, and the head rest is just where it should be: right behind my head. In most other cars (european/japanese at last), it feels like the seat stops somewhere 3/4 up my back, and the headrest continues in the seat back's direction/angle, i.e. backwards, leaving a considerable space between itself an my head.. As for the new 9-3: it has the same seats as in 9-5, has it ? I 'm afraid the 9-5 seats wou'nt suit me as good as my present 900 seat.I hope I'm wrong.....some day I'd like to trade in my current saab with a newer model! EinarH 1996 900S CAB (current) 1995 900S PS.: one complaint, maybe: the front window on the 900 Conv. is lower than on the regular sedan. With my height, i could whish for just a litle more unobstructed view vertically. But then again: the profile of the conv. is much nicer than on my previous sedan......
