I have a 1998 model 9-3 (manufacturing date March '98). I am assured that the radio/cd player unit is made by Clarion. But whilst earlier manufactured 9-3's accepted the after-market Clarion cd635 6-stacker with no adaptor required, this later-manufactured car has a special interface for a CD shuttle of unknown brand only sold by SAAB dealerships at approximately DOUBLE the price of any other good brand. I love my new car, but I also love good music, and the single cd player in the dash is not only a nuiscance to feed, but it also skips every time I negotiate a right hander at reasonable speed. (It doesn't like left hand G-force!) Can anyone shed any light on the problem of the cd-stacker interface? -- Martin Deeley mailto:martinnopsamel.com.au http://www.binzel.com.au/
