1) If that's your original battery, get a new one. I just replaced mine, putting the second Interstate Megatron (Group 34) in, having gotten almost 5.5 years on the first Interstate Megatron. And with sales tax, it was a mere $57.00. 2) Not sure on the Aero, but I believe it first came out prior to '92, and while also unsure as to engine specifics, I recall my dealer telling me that to the basic 9000, was applied the SAAB sports suspension, exhaust, and I think different front seats.
