Everyone is talking about reliability : here are our Saabs : Past Saabs : 1986 900 Turbo 8-valve : 185.000 kms, sold because my brother's wife is having her second baby. 1989 900 Turbo 16-valve Aero : 160.000 kms, sold because an incredible bargain on a 1994 9000 CSE 1990 9000 CD 2.0-16 valve : 240.000 kms then crashed (wasn't my mistake, some a*** came out of a litlle street without even watching, I hitted him and then I ran over a half a meter high street border, you can imagine what this last thing did to my front axel). Current Saabs : 1983 900 GLi : mine, currently 184.000 kms, still running great but again, I can have a great bargain at my dealer's on a 1990 900 1994 9000 CS : my brother's car, 120.000 kms 1994 9000 CSE : my father's car, 135.000 kms. All those without any significant costs, except for a blown head gasket on the 1994 9000 CSE because of a malfunction in the Saab ignition computer. Replaced under by warranty by dealer. I think these figures speak for themselves. Johan 83 900 GLi 94 9000 CS 94 9000 CSE
