I own a '97 900 SE Turbo, and when it was in for it's check-up, the dealer lent me a 9-3 convertible. The newer car was nice, however, the whole car shook and the body noticeably twisted when driving over bumps. I was amazed at how much the dash as moving, and found it completely unacceptable. This, however, was probably due to it's being a convertible. The suspension was much softer, and the handling poorer. The car was not nearly as quick as mine (it was a non-turbo). All in all I came away feeling that the "over 1000 improvements" made to the 9-3 were more a marketing ploy than anything substantive.
