Likewise, Ferrari has thrived since the Fiat take-over. I wonder what happened if Ford taked Alfa-Roméo instead of Fiat? Since Alfa-Roméo was bought by Fiat. Alfa aren't distributed in America anymore since a couple of years. How long can Fiat will resist to the temptation of a merger? . I feel this point is illustrated by the >Citroën/Peugeot merger; Citroëns have lost a great deal of their >character, but at lease they now posses a more universal appeal which makes them acceptable to the wider market essential to their survival. How long can Peugeot/Citroën can survive? GM and Ford are also interested to buy BMW. And Renault-Nissan? When Renault had taked AMC in the early 1980's, Renault is more interested to sells Renault, not AMC. And Renault wants to sells Renault via Nissan dealerships. Probably Renault cars rebadged as Nissan. It's seems than the same history will repeats again. This is the kiss of the death for Nissan. >Regards > > Leroy Curtis > Stéphane Dumas stephdumasnopsamotron.ca
