Calude, The following comes from another message on this NG (titled "brake system failure"): "This weekend we had a failure of the power brakes and ABS system in my 1990 9000CD turbo. My wife called me and explained that the brake fluid and ABS warning lights had stayed on when she started the car, but she had ignored them and driven to town anyway. Three miles from home she coasted into a parking lot and stopped using the emergency brake." In this case, it was the ABS pump. But the important point here is DO NOT DRIVE THE CAR! Without that pump working, you'll have no power assist for the front brakes, and no rear brakes at all. Good luck! This happens on occasion. The car continues to run fine. Any > ideas on what's going on? > > Thanks, > > Claude
