Offered to do my friend a favor by replacing the front pads on his 1987 900T. Appears that the emergency brake cable was sticking and maintained pressure on the right front, wearing down the pads. Question: when collapsing the piston to insert new pads, I do not get enough clearance. All I suceed in doing is moving the piston from end to end. Is there an adjuster screw somewhere I can back-off that mechanically expands/retracts piston . Also, am I required to remove caliper assy from knuckle to do this. Trying to avoid buying a manual. Thanks in advance. Mike 88 9000T
