The solution? I had the same problem. I tried several products from Turtle Wax and others, but none worked. Then, by accident, I stumbled on the closest thing to a miracle cure. Furniture polish. Yes, I know it seems crazy, but its the best I've ever tried. I use a brand called MP 52, sold here in Sweden, it also works wonders for bumpers, interior and rearview mirrors. Now I enjoy black, shiny plastic and rubber. Just put some on a rag or old sock and apply.
