I'm considering purchasing a Saab 9-5 wagon (that would make me a first-time Saab owner, BTW). A major factor in the decision is the effectiveness of the ventilated seats. Since I live the southeastern US (North Carolina), sweltering summers are a fact of life (except in the mountains). Due to the heat (and maybe a high metabolism?), driving my present car any distance becomes very uncomfortable: even with the A/C on full blast, a film of sweat develops between me and the seat. Often after as little as one-half hour my clothing and the seat are soaking wet (my wife does not appreciate it either when we switch drivers). So, any comments on how well the ventilated seats work would be appreciated.
