Regarding cooling fan, I've got a 91 9000-T. In my fuse box (under the hood) there was a 30 amp fuse for "high speed" and 25 amp fuse for "low speed" of the single fan. The high speed fuse was blown; I tried replacing it, blew that one - wound up getting towed into my mechanic rather than overheat the engine. Diagnosis was "faulty fan resistor". Seems that if the resistor is not in line with the fan, too much current is drawn getting it to high speed from dead stop blowing the fuse. Hope this helps.
