H-Dog; How can you say the S4 is, and I quote, "little car for a lot of $$$!!!! A great boy-racer toy but I'll bet it gets old fast when the adrenaline and testosterone stops pumping."? Plenty of enjoyment from driving both the A and S 4. The orig M3 was a boy racer, homologation-special. From where I stand, the S4 is quite a car for the price. Personally, I'll spend my pesos on the S4 before the M3. You were singing its praises in your post. I will not disagree with you, I am a big fan of both the E30 and E36 M3s and I'm sure the E46 will be a treat, as well. From both published accounts and my personal experience, the M3 and S4 are very close to performance and taste. IMHO, a good portion of the M3s price is for the Roundel, it lost quite a bit of character in the E36 (can you say leaking diff?). No flames, just wondering, as I may be spending my pesos on an S4 this summer. Plz write me off-usenet as this may be OT for alt.autos.saab. Drive fast, take risks; -ray 80 BMW 323i 8?
