Point 2 is managed today by injection of abundant fuel. Think most turbo charged engines does this today - not very friendly to the environment but not detected by the current test cylces. I *think* the main reason why Saab abandoned this solution was the inconvenience of having to fill yet another fluid into the vehicle. (even if the window wash water is used) Jan Soderberg
