I disagree. I know the noise he's talking about and it's definitely a "crunching"... kinda like a metal boot pushed through packed snow... amplified by the bodywork of the car. The scraping of the flap under the car is something I'm VERY used to (my father-in-law-to-be has a driveway that goes down a downward slope, and I always scrape those flaps when I go in or out), and it sounds totally different. Besides, the scraping of the flaps is very obviously from under the middle of the car, almost directly below your butt while the crunching is obviously from further in front of you. -- Gavin Haslett thumper_svxnopsamo.com "The early bird gets the worm...
