I just referenced websites... like http://www.kolumbus.fi/richard.bevan/ where I used the Saab Audio Guide. You can also do it the hard way and see if a Saab dealership will show you a changer for your model and year of 900, then pull the cover off and check the circuit board for the manufacturer and model... but considering most dealerships don't carry them any more, this is probably pointless (I believe the 9-3 has an H-K soundsystem rather than Clarion... correct?) ANYHOO... the CDC-635 is actually the compatible model... I don't think the "real deal" is produced any more. The 635 is a plug-in replacement that's plug and protocol compatible... so it works with the head unit in the car. Whether it will work in your 900S will depend on what soundsystem you have installed (check the link for details!). It'll also depend on whether the cable is back there in the trunk. Easy enough to find out... just remove the screws across the top of the trunk trim (I think there's three of them), and pull back until you can shine a flashlight down there. If there are two cables tied together, try pulling on the "rear-most" end of the cables. One should be relatively taught, and the other loose and wrapping around below itself. The one that wraps down below should have a connector on the end and isn't connected to anything. Voila! You've found your CD cable. If it ain't there, then you've got some wiring to do to wire up a changer! -- Gavin Haslett thumper_svxnopsamo.com "The early bird gets the worm... But the second mouse gets the cheese!"
