I have a 94 900SE V-6, and generally it's been trouble-free (mine's low mileage, though, at 45K). Other than having the timing gears and belt replaced (required but out of warranty in Germany), it hasn't required any major maintenance. It cruises nicely at 100-110 mph on the autobahn (gets 21 mpg at 100 mph), and except for the seats not being as comfortable as my Volvo 850's, would be my preferred car for long trips.
