True, but the only exceptions are the Viggen and the 9-5 Aero, which cannot run 15" wheels due to their larger brakes. The Viggen and presumably the Aero, CAN run all NG and 9-3 16" wheels though. Lesser Saabs can run the Viggen and Aero 17 rims with the proper size tires. You cannot put 9-5 size TIRES on a 9-3 or NG900 without huge problems with rubbing. My '97 convertible is currently running 205/50 Pirelli winters on the 16x6.5 five spokes that came on my wife's '99 9-5 wagon, and her car normally runs the OE Michelins on 16x6.5 Super Vikings that were OE on my convertible. Though this week she's trying out my new 17x8 Borbet Type T's with 215/45/17 Bridgestone S02 Pole Positions. This is the size we'll probably go to if we upgrade her to 17" wheels, it's <3% difference in circumference. What a difference a good set of tires makes on the wagon, even without any suspension mods! Looks mean too. Can't wait to get them on my car this weekend :) Dan > > ...
