Gerry, according to the CR magazine, the 94-95 had a number of problems and were quite costly to own. They rate the 96 and newer better. My 96 has had the ACC computer replaced 2 times before I bought it. I have been told that this may occur when jump starting it or other cars. I do not know, but will not be doing that with this one as it must be an expensive piece. Maybe others can give you more background on this. It seems to me that the 96-98 900's were very similar. The 9-3 is an improvement in suspension as well as safety over these with side air bags etc. I would not get a V6 as all I hear are horror stories. It is definitely not as robust as a Saab 4 cyl. I have the turbo 2L 4 cyl, and am very happy. It is very quiet, comfortable, but the NG900 is not quite as sporting as a classic 900. I have not driven a 2.3L, but it will not have the speed of the turbo, but it must have better 'off the line' performance as the turbo lag is evident in the 2.0. Just my $0.02, YMMV Keith Grider "gerry" <gerry.mccannnopsamternet.com> wrote in message news:8ibdbj$5ll$1nopsamunium.btinternet.com... > any good the detail for these years > thanks in advance > gerry.mccannnopsamternet.com > >
