I recently had a problem (which I fixed), and I'm curious if others have had a similar problem. One day (on vacation, of course), the CD would not eject from the player; pressing the "Eject" button had no response. The problem was caused by the Sanyo CR-2430 3V lithium cell (used to back up the graphic eq settings in memory) leaking onto the main circuit board. This eroded some of the copper traces below it, one of which controls the eject function. I thoroughly cleaned the board, soldered in some wire jumpers around the corroded section, and replaced the battery with a Duracell DL-2430. Since this requires a major disassembly of the unit, it is not a task for the inexperienced or faint of heart.
